Tap Incremental Rune Tier List

Not every Rune roll is worth keeping. This tier list ranks Tap Incremental Runes by overall impact on tap income, area progression, and roll efficiency for July 2026. Rankings combine community feedback, early patch data, and practical progression value — not raw rarity alone. Use it before spending Tickets so you know when to stop rolling and when to chase upgrades instead.

How We Rank Runes

Tier placements weigh three factors: progression speed (how much faster you clear area walls), scalability (whether the bonus stays relevant in later areas), and opportunity cost (whether keeping a mid-tier Rune blocks a better roll slot). S-tier Runes excel in all three; F-tier Runes help briefly then fall off.

Tap Incremental is actively updated by Topchart, so tiers shift when balance patches land. We revise after major updates and Discord developer notes. Rarity correlates with power but does not guarantee tier — some uncommon Runes outperform rare ones in early-game contexts.

S-Tier — Build-Defining Runes

S-tier Runes dramatically multiply tap output or Ticket income efficiency. Tap multiplier Runes that stack cleanly with Stats upgrades belong here, as do luck amplifiers that improve future rolls when the game allows compounding. If you pull an S-tier Rune during a ultraluck session, stop rolling immediately and bank it unless duplicate rules force a choice.

S-tier holders should shift Ticket spending toward luck stacking or saving for event banners if Topchart adds them. Chasing duplicate S-tier rolls is lower priority than filling empty slots with A-tier options first.

A-Tier and B-Tier — Solid Workhorses

A-tier Runes provide reliable boosts that carry you through mid-game area unlocks without feeling wasted. Stat-focused Runes, moderate tap bonuses, and utility perks like offline gains often land here. B-tier Runes are fine placeholders — keep them until a luck potion session targets upgrades.

Do not delete B-tier Runes prematurely if roll slots are limited. Something is better than nothing while Ticket income is low. Replace B-tier pieces when you roll A-tier or better in the same category during a batch session.

C-Tier and Below — When to Reroll

C-tier Runes offer minor bonuses noticeable only in the first hour. D and F tiers are roll fodder — replace aggressively once you have Tickets to spare. New accounts may keep D-tier temporarily if it is their only Rune.

Use code Tickets (FreeTickets, smalltickets) to climb out of low tiers quickly. Ten free rolls with ultraluck active clears most C-tier clutter. Refer to our rolling guide for batch sizes that balance Ticket cost against upgrade odds.

Tier List Maintenance and Patch Notes

Follow the official Discord at discord.com/invite/2ZzC392k9F for balance changes that move Runes between tiers. Winter events and future updates may introduce new Runes that shake rankings overnight. Bookmark this page — we update tiers when verified community testing confirms shifts.

There is no official Trello for tier data. Trust primary sources: in-game testing, developer announcements, and curated wikis like this one rather than copied lists from outdated aggregator sites.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best Rune in Tap Incremental?

S-tier tap multiplier and luck Runes generally top the list, but the best choice depends on your current build and empty slots. Check S-tier section above.

How often is this tier list updated?

We update after major patches and community verification, typically within days of Topchart balance changes.

Should I keep a C-tier Rune as my only roll?

Keep it until you roll better. Replace C-tier and below when you have spare Tickets and ideally a Rune Luck Potion active.

Does rarity equal tier?

Not always. Rarity hints at power but some lower-rarity Runes outperform in specific early-game situations.

Where do new Runes get ranked after updates?

New Runes are tested by the community and placed within a week of release. Watch Discord and this page for updates.
